GHS softball offering free clinic for elementary students

Bookmark and Share

The Guthrie Softball program will be holding a free clinic for all athletes ranging from the first grade thru the sixth grade as they learn and practice their skills.

Head Coach Lee Linsenmeyer, who helped turn around the program to a 20-win season in just his first season in 2011, said the clinic will be on April 7th at the high school field located just behind Guthrie Upper Elementary School.

The sign-ups will begin at 5:00 p.m. and the clinic will end at 7:30 p.m.

Athletes are asked to bring their equipment and practice clothes.

Linsenmeyer, along with the high school athletes, will help conduct the free clinic.

For more information, you are asked to contact Linsemeyer at (405) 612-2689.

  1. Kuddos to the coach and his group of girls that did this. Great job! If we want to build a strong softball program interest has to be shown in our young girls. The rewards will be reaped years later. Smart coach….Just wanted to say THANKS coach and HS girls!
