Due to traffic congestion and the annual Senior Drive, classes at Guthrie High School will be delayed starting on Thursday, August 18.
According to Principal Chris LeGrande, school busses will run as scheduled but classes will not begin until 9 am.
High school students will begin the day with their second-period class.
LeGrande added the start delay applies only to the first day of school at Guthrie High School.
