The Guthrie Band program has begun their annual “nut sale”. It will run October 1st thru October 12th.
This sale has been a tradition for the Band program for over 25 years. “We hope that you decide to be a part of this fundraiser and help the band raise money for additional classroom items such as instruments, music stands, sheet music, metronomes, band trips and other needs of the band program,” director Rob Blackburn said.
Blackburn continued, “these items are easy to sell due to the fact that they are used to bake those “oh so delicious” holiday desserts and treats we all enjoy.”
The Durham Pecan Company, located in Texas, offers the finest quality of nuts at a very reasonable price. As you’ll see not only do they sell nuts used for baking but also everyday snacks such as mixes and candy coated nuts.
The sale ends Oct. 12th; all items will be delivered to the High School bandroom sometime before Thanksgiving Break. Delivery times will be announced well in advance as the sale come to an end.
If you have any questions or would like to place and order please feel free to call at 405-282-5906 extension 8830 (or just ask for the band room) or email Blackburn at [email protected].
