Guthrie Lions Club donates to library

The Guthrie Noon Lions Club donated $200 to the Guthrie Public Library for its continued development of programs with a focus on the areas youth.

Lions Club President Daniel Gustafson said, “The Public Library in Guthrie is clearly not ‘your father’s library.’ It is so much more than books and magazines. It is a wonderful collection of resources for every person in our community.

Gustafson says the local library impacts several in the community.

“With face to face interactions numbering over 2,000 people every week it is a busy place that impacts many, many citizens. We are very pleased as a club to be able to financially help the mission and the impact of the Guthrie Library and to thank them for the great work they do daily.”
