Guthrie man injured north of Hennessey in vehicle accident

A Guthrie man was admitted to an Enid hospital following a head-on vehicle accident just north of Hennessey on Tuesday.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Kevin Ekiss, 57, of Guthrie was travelling southbound in a 2010 Toyota pickup on County Road 2900. Ramon Sepulveda Jr., 20, of Hennessey was travelling northbound in a 2009 Ford F250.

Troopers report Sepulveda Jr. went across the center line striking Ekiss head-on.

The accident occurred a quarter-mile north of Hennessey just after 3 p.m.

Ekiss was transported to Integris Bass Baptist Hospital with head, arm, leg, internal and external injuries.

Sepulveda Jr. was not injured.
