Update at 1:50 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2017 — Police say they have arrested a suspect believed to be connected to the deadly shooting at an Edmond fast food restaurant, Tuesday night. His identity has not been released.

A Guthrie man was shot and killed in the parking lot of an Edmond fast food restaurant on Tuesday evening. The victim’s identity was released on Wednesday by the Edmond Police Department.

Edmond Police have arrested Anthony Adams Millan in connection to Tuesday’s shooting.

According to police, 23-year-old Christian John Chancey was killed in the Braum’s parking lot near Interstate 35 and 15th Street just before 8:30 p.m.

With the sad announcement, family and friends began showing their condolences on social media.

According to Chancey’s Facebook profile, he graduated Guthrie High School in 2012.

As of Thursday morning, the shooter was not in custody.

Police officials say there was some sort of altercation with a black male prior to the shooting.

The suspect is described as having long hair and was seen wearing a beanie. He was seen driving a white Nissan Sentra with a paper tag, police officials said.

The car is missing a bumper and was last seen heading south on I-35.

Anyone with information about the suspect or the vehicle is urged to call Edmond Police.
