Guthrie Municipal Pool opens summer season on June 2

The Guthrie Municipal Pool will officially open up for the summer season on June 2 and will run through August 12.

Regular hours for the pool will be Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. On Saturday, the pool will be opened from 12:30 – 6 p.m. and 1 – 4 p.m. on Sunday.

The cost is $3 per day and free for members of the YMCA. Once again this season, the pool will be managed by the local YMCA.

The pool is located at 1102 E. Warner inside Highland Park.

Pool Rules

Pool rules include 12 year olds and above may access the aquatic facility without an adult. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a person age 16 or older. A driver’s license must be provided by the sponsor. The sponsor must be the means of transportation for the child under 12 and are responsible for the child while inside the aquatic facility. Walk up sponsors are not allowed. A parent, guardian, or sponsor must accompany children under the age of 8 in aquatic facility (one adult to every two children under the age of eight). A parent must be in the water within hands reach at all times unless the child is between the ages of 6-8 years who can successfully pass a deep water swim test then parent must remain in aquatic area.
