Guthrie police identify convenience store robbers; both in custody

The two alleged suspects, who held up a convenience store clerk at gunpoint last week, are both behind bars.

On March 9, police officers responded to Minimart No. 2, located at the intersection of Sooner Rd. and Division St. after they were advised the store had been robbed by two Hispanic males, who were seen wearing bandannas over their face and baseball caps. The two suspects were not found within the area despite K9 officers assisting.

Store video surveillance shows the two men walked into the store and pointed a shotgun at the clerk demanding money. The suspects were able to get away with a large sum of money and lottery tickets.

The Logan County SWAT team raided a home on Guthrie’s west side the following day, but the two believed subjects were not found inside. However, evidence found inside the home confirmed whom police were searching for. Related story: Store clerk held up at gunpoint; two males get away with cash, lottery tickets

Last Friday, Gregory Domingo Quilimaco Sr., 35, went to the Logan County Courthouse for a court hearing on a separate charge and was unable to pay court costs. He was taken into custody on a cost warrant. Once in custody, Guthrie police arrested Quilimaco for the convenience store robbery.

Guthrie detectives learned their second suspect, Adam Misty Quilimaco, 38, was taken into custody in Oklahoma County sometime after the robbery. Investigators are awaiting an arrest warrant to be filed to make an arrest on the robbery charge.

Gregory Quilimaco Sr. was formally arraigned on Tuesday in front of a Logan County judge. He was given a $250,000 bond and a March 24 court date. If found guilty, he could be sent to prison for life, or for no less than 15 years, and a fine.

Both suspects have a long criminal history in Logan County with several convictions, including burglary.
