Guthrie student helps with MTC Thanksgiving Luncheon

Guthrie student Jesse Scherffius makes one final check on dishes for the Meridian Technology Center Thanksgiving Luncheon. Students from the school’s Culinary Arts program put in months of planning and countless hours of cooking to prepare for the annual event.

It takes more than 500 pounds of potatoes, 450 pounds of turkey, 300 pounds of ham and 20 gallons of gravy to feed the anticipated guests.
