The Guthrie High School boys tennis team competed in the 5A State tournament this past weekend in Oklahoma City.
The No. 1 doubles team of Aaron Hartley and Caden Hopfer placed fourth.
Of the 16 places in the semi-finals of the four brackets, Guthrie was one of three public schools to play. In doubles competition, Cascia Hall won the title, Heritage Hall finished second followed up with Bishop Kelley, who defeated the Jays for third place.
Kevin Blackston and Brandon LaMarche placed seventh in No. 2 doubles.
Jess Minter was eliminated on Friday playing No. 2 singles.
