The Logan County Sheriff’s Office is asking for assistance in helping find a man who damaged an ATM machine at a Waterloo Road bank. It was all caught on tape.
The Sheriff’s Office responded to Farmers and Merchants, located at 121 East Waterloo Road, at 5 a.m. on Nov. 8. While no money was taken from the machine, there was damage to the machine with the attempted break in.
The investigation has provided several digital images that may help move the investigation forward.
The suspect appears to be a thin, white male in his 20’s and was seen wearing a dark jacket, a striped beanie style stocking cap and had a white cloth around his face.
The vehicle used is a late model, dark colored Dodge Quad Cab pickup truck. The vehicle is distinctive in that it has what appear to be aftermarket alloy wheels, and has damage to the driver’s door and above the driver’s side rear quarter panel.
