Highland Park pool now open for summer

The Highland Park Pool has opened for the summer season.

Regular hours for the pool will be Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. On Saturday, the pool will be opened from 1 – 6 p.m. and 1 – 4 p.m. on Sunday.

The cost is $3 per day and free for members of the YMCA.

The pool, located at 1102 E. Warner, season ends on Aug. 13.

The pool will be available for rentals through August 27.

Pool Rules

Pool rules include 12 year olds and above may access the aquatic facility without an adult. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a person age 16 or older. A driver’s license must be provided by the sponsor. The sponsor must be the means of transportation for the child under 12 and are responsible for the child while inside the aquatic facility. Walk up sponsors are not allowed. A parent, guardian, or sponsor must accompany children under the age of 8 in aquatic facility (1 adult to every 2 children under the age of 8). A parent must be in the water within hands reach at all times unless the child is between the ages of 6-8 years who can successfully pass a deep water swim test then parent must remain in aquatic area.
