He holds offers from schools all across the country including receiving an offer recently from Baylor. He is a special athlete that plays his high school football in the state of Oklahoma. His name is Kentrell Brothers and at 6-2 205 he is one of the highly recruited linebackers in the region.

“Missouri, Duke, Syracuse, Kansas State, and Baylor, of course,” says Brothers when asked what offers he currently holds.

The Guthrie High School star plays on both sides of the ball. Last season at Guthrie, Brothers earned second team All-State with 95 tackles, 17 sacks, four interceptions, and a fumble recovery. On offense he had 62 catches for 1,122 yards and 12 touchdowns. But Brothers is being recruited as an outside linebacker.

“Baylor is coming up,” says Brothers. “They’ve been getting better the last few years, and I am seeing them being contenders in the Big 12.”

With several offers already in hand, and more to come, Brothers is likely to hit a few Junior Days soon. He discusses what he brings to the football field.

“I bring a lot to the field. First, my work ethic. I’ll keep working on something until it is right. Second, my ability o play different positions.”
