Single Moms are invited a free brunch on Saturday, June 23 at 10:30 am. at the First United Methodist Church.
Childcare will be provided at the church located at 224 E Noble Ave.
The brunch is hosted by Guthrie First United Methodist Church in partnership with The Caring People Organization. The group says come and find your place to belong where there will be other Single Moms who are going through similar situations.
“You’ll find a shoulder to lean on and people who will care about you and your family,” a spokesperson said.
Guest Speaker, Rev. Dr. Tiffany Nagel/Monroe, a former Single Mom, will offer words of encouragement, support and motivation for taking a bold step such as this, to lead women forward in positive ways and to support and care for one another under the umbrella of Christian Faith.
Food, fun, childcare, door prizes and more is planned on the day.
