With the upcoming Guthrie football season just around the corner, here are some important dates to mark on your calendar.
Aug. 5 — High school pictures will be at 7 a.m. and equipment checkout will be from 8 – 11 a.m. A mandatory meeting is set for 6 p.m. at the Building of Champions.
For the junior high teams, pictures will follow at the high school at 8 a.m. Coaches will pass uniforms out when athletes arrive at the stadium.
Aug. 8 — First high school practice will start at 7 a.m.
Aug. 9 — Junior High equipment checkout will be from 9 a.m. to noon at Faver.
Aug. 10 — Practice for junior high begins at Faver (8 – 10 a.m.)
Aug. 13 — Meet the Bluejays will begin at 6 p.m. inside Jelsma Stadium. The public is encouraged to attend the free event.
