Inclement weather moves Guthrie Schools to distance learning on Tuesday

Update 6:25 pm
— Due to ongoing power outages in the Guthrie area, Guthrie Public Schools has canceled classes for Wednesday, Oct. 28.

Guthrie Public Schools will conduct their first distance learning session of school on Tuesday. Instead of COVID reasons, inclement weather has canceled in-school instruction.

All school buildings will be closed as students and staff will transition to distance learning and work remotely.

The school district has also moved the parent teacher conferences scheduled for Tuesday evening to Thursday evening at the same scheduled time. If this produces a conflict, you’re encouraged to contact your child’s teacher for alternate arrangements.
