The Logan County Treasurer’s Office is informing all citizens that an error occurred on their property tax statements. The error was not known at the time and were mailed out this week.
A printing error was the culprit.
The error resulted by grabbing the June delinquent format statements. Therefore, each statement says delinquent.
Officials say the amount on the statement is correct.
The incorrect statement also does not give the option for half payments.
The Treasurer’s Office says the error has been corrected and the replacement statements will be mailed out on Friday, November 23.
Good to know. I hope my escrow company knows this happened and doesn’t deplete my escrow account.
