LCSO K9 deputy finds suspect following vehicle, foot pursuit

Logan County K9 Officer Yalo found his suspect early Thursday morning following a vehicle and foot pursuit.

At approximately 3:20 a.m. a deputy ran a license tag on a vehicle, which came back to a different vehicle.

In an attempt to verify the tag, the subject began running stop signs. The deputy activated his emergency lights and siren and began to give chase.

The vehicle came to a stop near the intersection of Seward and Douglas and rolled into a bar ditch. The driver fled on foot and was apprehended a short time later by K9 Officer Jalo.

Taton Dakota Savory was placed under arrest.

Savory was charged with attempt to elude, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of firearm after former felony conviction.
