Lions Club donates to Hope House

Guthrie Noon Lions Club members Clay Tarter (pictured left) and John Kellogg presented a check from the club to Orville Meyers (pictured right) of Hope House.

Hope House Guthrie is a non-profit facility that provides shelter for those in our community that are homeless.

Some who seek shelter at Hope House are experiencing a temporary financial situation or other similar crisis and just need a short term solution until their circumstances improve. Others have been homeless for years and are trapped in a generational cycle of poverty. Still others are in recovery from addictions that have ruled their lives and robbed them of the ability to move forward. Most face a combination of issues.
