As Guthrie and Oklahoma begins for round two of the winter storm. Here are the current closings and cancelations.
— Guthrie Public Schools will be in distance learning for Tuesday, February 16 and Wednesday, Feb. 17.
— The Logan County Courthouse and county offices will be closed on Tuesday, February 16.
— Guthrie High School basketball games on Monday (Piedmont) and Tuesday (Shawnee) have been canceled. Also, GHS baseball scrimmages also canceled on Monday and Tuesday.
— OSSAA has pushed Wrestling Regionals back . Regionals for 106-145 pounds will be Saturday, Feb 20. Regionals for 152 pounds to heavy weight will be Monday, Feb 23. Guthrie participates in the Duncan Regional.
— Waste Connections did not run their trash service on Monday and will not again on Tuesday. Keep your trash bin near the roadway for a later pickup time.
— With below-freezing temperatures & snow-packed roads, RDS, I trash service was not able to safely run trucks on Tuesday. With the impending storm today, they will not run on Wednesday and will attempt to run Thursday. RDS is currently on a 3-day delay and asks if you’ve pulled your cart out, please leave them out for a later pickup time.
