Logan County women recognized at Biennial State Convention

Logan County was represented at the Biennial State Convention of the Oklahoma Federation of Republican Women by First Capital Republican Women Delegates Linda Tatom, Jeannine Long, Jennifer Johnson, Carol Cline and Connie Sorrell.

Honorees of First Capital recognized at the convention on Nov. 2 were Woman of the Year Linda Tatom, Club President; and Rising Star Carol Cline.

Governor Mary Fallin was the Awards Luncheon speaker at the event held at the Oklahoma City Marriott.

Tatom was the winner of the special membership-drive drawing for a week’s vacation in Galveston, TX.  Pam Pollard, Midwest City, former Vice Chair of the State Republican Party, was elected to a two-year term as State President.
