The Logan County SWAT team was activated early Sunday morning after a man barricaded himself in a home.
The Guthrie Police Department responded to a welfare check at 2117 W. College at 2:21 a.m.
Officers attempted to have the man, whose name was not released, to come outside, but refused repeatedly.
Several minutes later a female came out from the house. She was later transported to another residence. However, the male suspect stayed inside.
Officers could see the man moving throughout the home and at times was able to speak to him.
As members of the SWAT team arrived on the scene, officers were able to capture the suspect and took him into protective custody at 4:37 a.m.
