A Guthrie man was admitted in critical condition at an Oklahoma City hospital following a motorcycle crash.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Gary L. Staley, 60, of Guthrie was injured while driving a 2017 Harley Davidson just after 1:30 p.m. on July 18.
Troopers said Staley failed to negotiate a curve on the ramp from Interstate 40 westbound to Interstate 35 southbound. After losing control of the bike, the driver departed the roadway to the right striking an attenuator.
The driver was thrown approximately 71 feet striking a bridge support.
Staley was transported by EMSA to OU Medical Center with head, trunk internal, trunk external, arm and leg injuries.
