Mulhall-Orlando FFA and 4-H members made the most of their time at the Tulsa State Fair, earning championship titles, scholarship awards, and opportunities to compete on a national stage. From the livestock show rings to horse events and judging contests, members demonstrated the hard work, dedication, and agricultural knowledge that make their chapter and community proud.

In the swine show, Fletcher Inman earned the opportunity to compete among some of the fair’s top exhibitors after punching his ticket to the Night of Champions. Kilee Blehm also made her mark in the ring, earning Champion Bred & Owned Chester during the first year the Tulsa State Fair hosted a Bred & Owned swine show. Atalie Paul added another accomplishment to the chapter’s success by earning Junior Champion Gilt Showman. These achievements highlighted the preparation and dedication each exhibitor put into their projects.

The cattle show brought additional success for Mulhall-Orlando members. Berkley McKay had an outstanding day, earning both Grand Champion and Reserve Champion Prospect Steer. Kamdyn McKay earned Reserve Champion Charolais Steer and the opportunity to compete in the Grand Champion Ceremony. Brylie Cook also represented the chapter well, placing third in Class 2 AOB. Each accomplishment reflected the time and effort these members invested in preparing their projects for competition.

Mulhall-Orlando’s livestock judging teams also gave the community plenty to celebrate. Both the Senior FFA Livestock Judging Team and the Junior 4-H Livestock Judging Team earned championship titles at the Tulsa State Fair. The Senior FFA team’s victory secured the opportunity to represent Mulhall-Orlando at the National Western in Denver, Colorado. These championships resulted from countless hours spent studying livestock, practicing evaluation skills, and preparing for competition.

Success continued in the horse show ring with sophomore member Brooklyn Mueller and her horse, Another Dream Maker, known as Maverick. The pair earned Champion All Age Reining, Champion Senior Ranch Trail, Champion Senior Ranch Riding, and Reserve Champion Senior Trail. They added to their impressive results with Champion Senior Showmanship, Reserve Champion Senior Hunter Under Saddle, and the Overall Highpoint Champion title. Brooklyn also received a $1,000 scholarship, making the fair even more memorable for the successful duo.

Members also put their agricultural knowledge to work in the Tulsa State Fair Cattle Grading Contest. Lauren Stinchcomb, Berkley McKay, Lyndi Ward, Daisi Ward, Natalie Mitchell, and Adalyn Mitchell represented Mulhall-Orlando as they evaluated cattle and gained valuable experience in a competitive setting. Their participation provided another opportunity to strengthen the skills they continue to develop through agricultural education.

The accomplishments at the Tulsa State Fair represent more than championship banners, ribbons, and awards. They reflect the commitment of students who dedicate countless hours to their projects, teams, and activities, as well as the support of families, coaches, and community members who help them succeed. Through these experiences, Mulhall-Orlando FFA and 4-H members continue to develop the responsibility, leadership, and skills that will benefit them far beyond the show ring.
