Mulhall-Orlando FFA Celebrates Member Achievements at Annual Banquet

On May 9th, the Mulhall-Orlando FFA Chapter held its annual chapter banquet, celebrating the accomplishments and dedication of its members throughout the year. The evening highlighted the hard work, leadership, and success of the chapter’s students across a wide range of FFA programs and competitions. This year, seven members earned the prestigious State FFA Degree.

Joci Fogle
Denver McKay
Dax Pack
Garrett Perrin
Jace Taylor (Academic Excellence)

19 received the Chapter FFA Degree, 15 freshmen were awarded the Greenhand Degree, and 15 members achieved the Discovery FFA Degree. The chapter also recognized the 23 students who completed proficiency award applications, contributing to the chapter earning the Proficiency Sweepstakes Award at the Oklahoma FFA State Convention.

The banquet also celebrated individual state-level achievements, with three members crowned as State Champions:

Lane Brown – Diversified Livestock Production (Placement/Entrepreneurship)

Jace Taylor – Agricultural Mechanics Design and Fabrication (Entrepreneurship/Placement)

Denver McKay – Beef Production (Placement)

The chapter’s Junior Officer Team, comprised of eight dedicated members, was also recognized for their leadership throughout the year:

President – Josephine Major
Vice President – Ella Dowell
Secretary – Natalie Mittchell
Treasurer – Tatum Weir
Reporter – Brooklyn Mueller
Sentinel – Ivory Davis
Historian – Fletcher Inman
Parliamentarian – Chesney Scroggins

In addition, the Junior Officer Team proudly presented two outstanding community members with the Chapter Honorary Degree, recognizing their support and contributions to the Mulhall-Orlando FFA program.

FFA members who participated in this year’s State Agriscience Fair were also honored for their outstanding work:

Berkley McKay – Food Science
Ally Phillips – Social Systems
Lauren Stinchcomb – Food Science

One of the evening’s most prestigious moments came with the presentation of the Chapter Star Awards, The star awards are the greatest honor a chapter can present to its members. These individuals have demonstrated phenomenal commitment to their projects, and through hours of hard work and dedication have built up their enterprises in an extraordinary way.

The banquet concluded with the installation of the 2026–2027 FFA Officer Team, signaling a bright future for the chapter:

The Mulhall-Orlando FFA Chapter continues to foster leadership, academic achievement, and community involvement among its members. The annual banquet served as a reminder of the chapter’s commitment to developing young leaders and celebrating the hard work that defines the spirit of FFA.
