New car seat state law begins Nov. 1; 251 new laws added

Over 250 new laws begin on Nov. 1 for the state of Oklahoma, including the requirement that all kids eight and younger must be in some kind of car or booster seat.

Children under two years old must be in a rear-facing car seat. Kids two to four can use a front-facing seat and children over four before their eighth birthday or shorter than 4’9” must be in some kind of car or booster seat.

Once the system has been complete, new laws will allow the option of registering to vote and renewing your license online.

People convicted of misdemeanor drug offenses will now be allowed to apply for gun licenses.

Doctors must now check a central database to see if patients are trying to get prescription drugs illegally.
