OHP investigating fatality accident in Logan County

One man was killed Wednesday in eastern Logan County following a one-vehicle, rollover crash.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol, along with the Logan County Sheriff’s Office and Guthrie Fire Department, responded just after 6 p.m. to State Highway 105 and S. Choctaw Road, approximately seven miles east of Guthrie.

Troopers said a red Chevy Silverado, driven by Alfredo Herrera, 44, of Oklahoma City, was eastbound on SH-105 and for an unknown reason rolled approximately four times striking a fence and coming to a rest on its top. Herrera was ejected during one of the rolls and was pronounced dead at the scene.

OHP says the driver’s condition and the collision’s cause are under investigation.

The driver was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
