Two members of the Thunder Girls Dance Team Squad will join the Logan County Historical Society Hoops Up event at the Frontier Country Museum in Crescent.
The event is set for June 17 at 10 a.m. The Frontier Country Museum is located at 500 N. Grand Ave.
The basketball themed, family friendly event will celebrate Logan County’s rich basketball history by highlighting some of basketball’s most influential entertainers, including Geese Ausbie of the Harlem Globetrotters and Ralph Godfrey’s donkey basketball team.
The event will feature hysterical basketball contests such as dribble limbo and blindfolded peach basket shooting. Basketball themed crafts, snacks, and prizes will be provided.
The event is sponsored by the Oklahoma City Thunder and admission is by donation.
Hoops-Up is part of the Frontier Country Exploration series which will run every Saturday this summer as part a partnership between the Logan Country Historical Society and Frontier Country Museum.
