OSSAA board approves 2012-13 football districts

The Oklahoma Secondary Activities Association board of directors met Wednesday morning and approved the football districts for the 2012-13 seasons.

The BlueJays will be joined by Carl Albert, Deer Creek, McGuinness, El Reno, Western Heights, Northwest Classen and Guymon to comprise district two of Class 5A.

The OSSAA made a slight change for the coaches recommendation by moving Southeast to the west side of the state and sending Noble to the east.

Class 5A
5A-1 – Duncan, Chickasha, Lawton MacArthur, Altus, Ardmore, Southeast, Del City, Capitol Hill

5A-2 – Guthrie, Carl Albert, Deer Creek, McGuinness, El Reno, Western Heights, Northwest Classen, Guymon

5A-3 – Noble, Tulsa Hale, Bishop Kelley, Shawnee, McAlester, Durant, Tulsa Memorial, Skiatook

5A-4 – Tulsa Central, Claremore, Collinsville, Coweta, Tulsa East Central, Grove, Pryor, Tahlequah
