Police: Cashion man arrested for robbery of an elderly woman

On Thursday morning, the Cashion Police Department, along with the Oklahoma City Police Department, arrested TJ Martin for his alleged involvement in a robbery of an elderly woman’s purse at Sam’s Club on NW Expressway.

The two males went to the Belle Isle Walmart and purchased airsoft guns with the woman’s credit card.

They were spotted on the store’s security cameras.

The first male was identified and arrested. The second male, 22-year-old Martin, was found and arrested at his residence in Cashion.

A third man has not been found as police continue to search for him.

Cashion Police Chief Veronica Thomas said, “We have received numerous calls regarding TJ and are happy that he is now in custody.”

Martin stood out as an athlete when he attended Cashion High School.

He was escorted by OKC police officers to the Oklahoma County jail.
