Portrait Authority kicked off the new year by opening their portrait studio in Guthrie and are beginning their new business with grand opening specials.
Jarrett George and Meghan Norton have teamed up to offer a wide range of photographic options including families, babies, and children inside their studio located at 821 S. Division.
The duo opened their doors on January 3rd after several weeks of remodeling the building.
George and Norton take it to another level inside their studio with portrait sessions for occasions like high school senior pictures, bridal, engagements, bachelorette parties, boudoir and even schedules pets of any kind.
Portrait Authority is currently running a cute kid contest that ends on February 12th with three winners receiving gifts, including the top winner taking a $500 prize. Along with the contest, the studio is taking appointments for Valentine’s Day.
Along with photography, Portrait Authority specializes in artistic imagining.
George, also the owner of Unique Designs in Guthrie, took interest in photography beginning his freshman year in high school. He was introduced to photography by his high school yearbook teacher, and has loved it ever since.
Norton began her photography career at an early age as she was influenced by her father, who was a journalist. She enjoys photographing subjects of every age, but especially loves babies, children, and seniors. Norton believes in continuing her education as a photographer, artist and designer and can often be found at photography schools, conventions, and seminars.
Both George and Norton are active in local, state, and national guilds including Metro Professional Photographers of America, Professional Photographers of Oklahoma, and Professional Photographers of America.
