The leadership team at the First Christian Church is in the early phases of developing an expansion plan. While it’s not certain what the ultimate goal is at this time, church members may look toward the additional space for their ministries.

To begin the process, a property located on the east side of the church’s parking lot on Oak St., was torn down. The property was purchased by the church in October 2014.

Members of the congregation say the short-term plan is for the now open area to be developed to help ease some of the current parking woes.
