Recycling event setup for unwanted electronics

Neighborhood Solutions and Electronic Synergy Foundation (ESF) are teaming up for the Guthrie E-Waste Collection Event to help you get rid of your unwanted electronics. If you’re not a local to the area and are looking for a specialist to dispose of your unwanted computers or computer parts, then you can view Exit Technologies for more.

The event is set for Saturday, Oct. 15 from 10 – 4 p.m. in the City Parking Lot, which is located on W. Harrison Ave. between 1st and 2nd streets.

Donors are asked to bring unwanted electronics such as computers, televisions, cell phones, home electronics and office equipment.

There will be no recycling fees.

ESF, a 501C3 non-profit electronic recycler, says unwanted electronics create environmental hazards when disposed in landfills. Instead, they can use the items that you no longer want.
