The Class 5A Fast-Pitch State Championship bracket was released Monday morning and the Guthrie Lady Jays will hit the field first in game one.
Guthrie, who last played in the state tournament in 2014, takes on Piedmont at 11 a.m. (Field 3) inside the Ballfields at Firelake in Shawnee.
The Lady Jays enter the tourney with a 23-5 record, while Piedmont at 28-5. Both teams had no issues in their three regional games to qualify. Related article: Video: Guthrie sweeps their way to the State Tournament
The winner will play the winner between Pryor (30-5) and Collinsville (22-12) on Friday at 11 a.m. on Field 3.
The state championship game is set for 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
The other half of the bracket will feature Tahlequah (24-16) taking on Durant (26-8) and Woodward (29-9) facing Carl Albert (27-4).
The cost of each session will be $7 for students and adults.
