A teen was recovered from the waters of the Cimarron River Saturday.
Just after 5 p.m., emergency crews responded to the river on State Highway 74 south of Crescent.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports a 19-year-old drown, but was not immediately known what caused the event.
The OHP dive team was called out to the scene and recovered the body.
Family members reportedly searched the area for hours attempting to find the teen.
No additional details, including the victim’s name, have been given at this time.
