For the seventh straight year, the Guthrie Territorial Riders have raised and donated money for the annual General T.L. Daniels and Community Thanksgiving Dinner. The latest donation came Sunday evening that will help feed those in need on Thanksgiving Day.
The local motorcycle association, who gives generously to several local needs throughout Logan County, donated $800 to Evelyn Nephew and Lewis Robinson to help fund the meal.
Along with the monetary donation, several members of the association will help deliver and serve the meal that is attended by the community.
The association was quickly to thank all the numerous merchants who help raise the money.
The 17th Annual General T.L. Daniels and Community Thanksgiving Dinner will be held on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27 at the American Legion Center, located at 123 N. First Street.
The traditional turkey and dressing and all of the trimmings is the menu for the day, prepared to warm your hearts, bodies and souls. Dinner is no charge and will be served from 11:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. or until all guests are fed.
