Three vehicle accident blocks Division Street

A three vehicle accident on S. Division Street blocked traffic for nearly an hour on Saturday morning.

The Guthrie Fire Department, Guthrie Police Department and the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to the accident at approximately 9:40 a.m. in the 3800 block of S. Division (south of Prairie Grove Road).

According to a witness at the scene, a Ford Ranger and a white Buick were travelling north when the Ranger rear-ended the Buick.

The impact sent the Buick crashing into a Chevrolet Silverado, which was travelling south.

Guthrie Police continues to investigate the crash.

The accident involved four adults.

The passenger in the Silverado was treated and released at the scene by Guthrie EMS, but was expected to be further evaluated at an Edmond hospital.

The roadway was cleared at 10:31 a.m. after all three vehicles were taken by wreckers.
