It was quite the scene for motorists along Division St. as a tire was seen bouncing down the street and eventually into a store’s business.
At around 1 p.m. on Saturday, a truck pulling a boat southbound on S. Division St. lost its back rear tire from the boat’s trailer.
After rolling for several blocks, the tire went crashing through H&M Carpet’s front window and shattering the glass.
The tire was found with all the lug nuts still attached.
The driver said he thought someone had hit his trailer and was unaware the tire was gone.
No one was injured throughout the incident.
