Over a million of dollars of damage took place on Sunday evening after a Logan County fire station department was engulfed with flames.

Multiple agencies throughout the county, included Guthrie, Crescent, Cashion and Deer Creek responded to the Twin Lakes Fire Department just after 7:30 p.m. on Sunday.

The station is located south of Crescent and 20 minutes northwest of Guthrie.

The assistant fire chief spotted the fire and was later transported to a nearby hospital for smoke inhalation.

Fire officials believe a Polaris may have caught fire inside the station and quickly spread destroying everything, including multiple fire trucks.

More to come.

Twin Lake firefighters could only watch as surrounding fire departments put out the fire that destroyed everything inside their fire station on Sunday night.
