A two-vehicle accident Wednesday evening has sent two people to the hospital. The same accident sent one of the vehicles into a nearby home.
Emergency personnel were dispatched to the intersection of north Division and Logan after 7 p.m.
A four-door silver Focus was traveling southbound on Division when it was struck in the middle of the intersection by a white four door Terrain SUV.
A police officer on the scene said the SUV failed to stop at a stop sign as it traveled west on Logan. Air bags were deployed in each vehicle.
The impact sent the Focus up into the yard and eventually stopped into a home. The crash took out several cinder blocks of the home’s foundation.
Two people were taken to the local hospital with injuries. It was reported two people were inside the Focus while four or five people were inside the Terrain. Nobody inside the home was harm.
A witness tells Guthrie News Page the victims in the accident appeared to be teenage boys.
