Based on the current weather conditions and available forecasts, the decision has been made to host Commencement Exercises at Jelsma Stadium tonight at 7:30 p.m. as scheduled.
Due to current field conditions, high heeled shoes are not recommended and spectators will not be allowed on the field following the ceremonies. Harrison Street will be closed near the stadium entrance to allow for spectator safety before and following the ceremony.

Due to the uncertain weather forecasts for the remainder of the week, contingency plans have been adopted for the 2015 Guthrie High School Commencement exercises. The graduation ceremonies are scheduled for Friday, May 15 in Jelsma Stadium at 7:30 p.m. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremonies will be moved to Saturday, May 16 at the Lazy E Arena and will begin at 7:30 p.m.
If the conditions warrant relocating the ceremonies, that information will be communicated through the district website and other usual media outlets.
THAT IS WHERE THEY SHOULD HAVE GRADUATION EVERY YEAR ANYWAY, RAIN OR SHINE! NO WORRY ABOUT PARKING OR SEATING FOR ANYONE!
