Guthrie Public Schools recognized their latest support and certified employees of the month with recognition at the Board of Education meeting on Monday evening.
Gary Oliver was named the October Support Employee of the Month while James Strahorn was named the Certified Employee of the Month.
Each selection was awarded with a plaque, $50 gift certificates from Integrity Heat and Air and a $25 Sonic gift card from the Lions Club.
Guthrie Upper Elementary School (GUES) Principal Susan Davison nominated and presented Oliver, who is a paraprofessional at GUES.
Guthrie High School (GHS) Principal Chris LeGrande nominated and presented Strahorn, who is a math teacher and head coach of the GHS cross country teams.
