After two terms covering eight years, Guthrie Public Schools school board member Sharon Watts elected not to run for a third term in 2020. Now, she reflects back on her terms with both the positives and negatives.
Watts recently sat down with GPS Superintendent Dr. Mike Simpson on his monthly Chalk Talk session.
Watts will remain in office for the January, February and March board meetings before Chris Schroder, who ran unopposed, is sworn into office in the April board meeting.
“I am very proud to be a part of this community. Proud to be a Bluejay,” Watts said.
