Guthrie High School honored six of its seniors in a moving military signing ceremony, recognizing their commitment to serve in the United States Armed Forces. The event, held in the high school gymnasium and led by Lt. Colonel Kyle Brede, celebrated the bravery and dedication of these students as they took their official oath of enlistment.
Surrounded by classmates, faculty, and proud family members, the students were applauded for their decision to defend and serve their country with honor. The atmosphere was filled with patriotism and support as each student was introduced and recognized for their future path.
The six students taking the oath were:
- Charles “AJ” Irvin
- Juaquin Ramirez
- Brycen Sampson
- David Lancaster
- Lileah Hughes
- Alx Varselona
Military personnel in attendance included Specialist Rachel Watson, Staff Sergeant Kevin Clayton, Master Sergeant Steven Watson, Petty Officer 2 Joseph Campana, and Petty Officer 2 Abraham Guillen, all of whom were part of the ceremony to welcome and support the enlistees.
