Watch: United Way of Logan County celebrates successful 2020 fundraising campaign

United Way of Logan County announced its 2020 fundraising total during a virtual Campaign Celebration event on Thursday, April 8. The campaign raised a grand total of $180,743 to be invested on behalf of donors to help meet the community’s health and human service needs.

“After an extraordinary year, we are humbled to have exceeded our 2020 campaign goal,” said Michelle Chapple, United Way of Logan County Advisory Board President. “The generous support of each and every donor carried us through every obstacle of this past year and allowed us to ensure that our Partner Agencies can continue to meet the needs of Logan County residents.”

The celebration also recognized Environmental Management as the 2020 Corporate Spirit Award winner as well as three volunteer award winners for their dedicated service to United Way of Logan County: Jessie Bryan received the 2020 Outstanding Employee Campaign Coordinator award, Dana Hornbeck received the 2020 Newcomer of the Year award and Jamie Newton received the 2020 Volunteer of the Year award.

United Way of Logan County allocates donor dollars to 11 programs administered by 10 Partner Agencies. All programs are reviewed annually by donor volunteers to ensure contributions are properly invested with the highest level of accountability.
