8:30 a.m. — Water customers south of the Guthrie Water Treatment Plant are currently experiencing low water pressure and in some cases be without water until Friday afternoon.City of Guthrie officials say they went to turn the valves on in front of the treatment plant to tie into the new master meters that connect with the new Rural Water District 1 customers. A team of professionals has been troubleshooting low hot water pressure and has discovered that the pipe broke and has shut down.

An Oklahoma City company has been called in to help with a temporary fix, but will not arrive until Friday afternoon.

The affected customers will be from the treatment plant (1113 S. Division St.) to the south.

As the demand for water goes up today, customers may experience little to no rain until the temporary fix has been completed.
