Water in fuel causing havoc for motorists

Motorists are already dealing with high fuel prices at the pump, but now some are dealing with costly repairs after water was found in their fuel tanks.

The Oklahoma Corporation Commission has reportedly tagged all fuel pumps at the Rodeo Corner convenience store located at Interstate 35 and Seward Road for poor fuel, according to a source.

All unleaded gasoline pumps were covered with white plastic bags and each handle was tied down on Tuesday.

According to a source, several vehicles have broken down or are showing engine trouble. In late May, multiple vehicles were seen broken down on I-35.

The Corporation Commission states no one should pump unleaded fuel from the store until the tanks have been pumped out.

Diesel fuel has been reported to be up to standard. The diesel pumps were available for consumption as of late Tuesday afternoon at the store.
