Wooden, Evans score high at 2020 National Our Diamond Miss Pageant

Avery Wooden and Sophie Evans recently competed in the 2020 National Our Diamond Miss Pageant in July and both came away with honors.

Avery Wooden, the daughter of Jeff and Dena Wooden, captured the National Teen Miss Model, which is her highest goal and title to date.

In addition, Avery claimed the National Teen Miss Portfolio, also her personal best in that category of the pageant.

With the national title, Avery will now travel to Branson, MO in the fall to perform her talent song on stage at the Clay Cooper Theater.

Avery was not the only member in the family to come away with honors. Her dad joined in on the fun as Jeff won the Dad Award for being an outstanding pageant father to many of the girls who compete at Diamond Miss.

Sophie, the daughter of Frankie and Donna, is the Oklahoma State Queen of Queens, which she won for making appearances, giving back to the community, representing her title the most last year.

Sophie is also the Oklahoma State Elegant Miss Diamond Girl. She scored her personal best in the National Diamond Girl competition phase of the pageant.

She also placed in the top five in both modeling and talent.

Both girls thanked their sponsors, coaches, friends and family who gave them monetary support, love and encouragement during this pageant season to help them reach their goals.
