A 20-year-old man was killed early Saturday morning in a single-vehicle rollover crash in Logan County, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at approximately 1:58 a.m. on US-77 near East County Road 59.
According to the OHP report, Skylar R. Cote was traveling northbound on US-77 when the vehicle entered a curve at an unsafe speed and departed the roadway to the right.
Investigators said the vehicle struck a fence and continued northeast through a field before hitting a ditch and rolling approximately one and a half times.
During the rollover, the driver was ejected into a pond.
Cote, from Orlando, was pronounced deceased from injuries sustained in the crash.
Troopers reported seatbelts were not in use at the time of the collision. No passengers were inside the vehicle.
The crash remains under investigation by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
