Folks in Logan County had not felt an earthquake in some time, but that was not the case on Sunday.
A 5.3 magnitude earthquake struck at approximately at 7:44 p.m. on Sunday. Its epicenter was near the town of Cushing, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The quake was felt throughout the state as well as in Kansas and Arkansas.
It was 3.8 miles deep.
If the 5.3 holds true, it will mark the state’s fourth largest quake to hit.
There are reports of broken items in the town of Cushing. In addition, locations are without electricity as aftershocks are hitting the area. View the photo below of the damage.
